🏏 How Can You Deselect A Selection

There are two ways that you can deselect your selection in Photoshop. You can use your mouse or the keyboard shortcut . To do it the long way, go up to Select on the menu bar and choose Deselect from the dropdown menu. I know, super long, right? The second way is even easier. Just hit Ctrl + D ( Command + D on a Mac) on the keyboard. Voila!

Step 1: Click Kutools > Select Tool >> Select Range Helper…. Step 2: In Select Range Helper dialog box, check the Deselect Cells option, and then click or drag mouse to deselect cells or ranges from the selection. See screenshot: Step 3: And the cells you unwanted have been deselected from the selection.
Click on " Deselect " from the menu (second from the top) to deactivate all area selections. You can use keyboard shortcuts to make a quick deselection by simultaneously pressing ⌘ and D (mac) or Ctrl and D (Windows PC). It is a lot easier to deselect an object than what it can be to make complexed selection in the first place.
To deselect non-contiguous cells, hold down the Ctrl key then click on each selected cell. It's easy, right? 😀. The same works if you selected columns or rows. If you need to deselect columns, hold down "Ctrl" and click on the specific column headers (or drag the mouse if they're contiguous).
